20年に及ぶキャリアにおいて、テックダンスをベースにした REMO-CON の歴史は、05年にリリースされたシングル”G-Sigh”から始まる。
その後”Cold Front” 、”Atavism”、”Narky Light”、”Bleep On Love”、”Instability”、といったキラートラックスを次々に発表。 09年6月には、第一期の集大成とも言える 1st アルバム“a life with remote controllers “を、更に11年6月にはソロ名義では初 となるミックス CD “VIBLE 02 mixed by REMO-CON” をリリースした。また、CDJ をライブ感覚で操るソリッドなスタイルも高く評価されており、 LOUD 誌が主催するランキング “DJ50/50” においては、2年連続第3位のポジションを獲得するまでに至った。
昨秋からは新たなる試みとして 自身がホストを務めるラジオショー “Remote Control”(block FM [http://block.fm/] 毎週水曜日)もスタート。
いまや国内のみならず、UK を中心とした欧州、北米、アジア地域にもその名を馳せるマスターピースの活動は、エレクトロニックシーンの明日をも担っているといえるだろう。
In a career spanning 20 years, REMO-CON’s history with TECH DANCE began in 2005 with the release of “G-Sigh”.
This was followed by a string of killer tracks: “Cold Front”, “Atavism”, “Narky Light”, “Bleep On Love”, and “Instability”. In June 2009 he released “a life with remote controllers”, his first album and the culmination of the first phase of his career; and in June 2011 he brought out his first solo mix CD, “VIBLE 02 mixed by REMO-CON”.
His solid live CDJ operating style has also been highly praised, and for two years running he’s occupied third spot in LOUD magazine’s “DJ 50/50” ranking. Last fall as a new venture he started hosting his own radio show, “Remote Control” (block FM [http://block.fm/]) every Wednesday.
REMO-CON’s reputation now reaches beyond Japan.
He’s been making a name for himself in Europe (centering on the UK), North America, and throughout Asia, and with his skill at producing masterpieces, the future of the electronic music scene may well rest on his shoulders.
