日本語ラップブームに乗り10代半ばでマイクを握り始め、2000年初頭から DRUM&BASS 一筋にキャリアを積み上げてきた生粋のジャングリスト。UK マナーに敬意を表しながら独自の MC 道を追求している。
近年はジャンルを問わず様々な国内著名 DJ 達と共演するほか、block.fm の前身である TCY RADIO TOKYO 時代から続く国内唯一のウィークリー DRUM&BASS 専門番組 “Localize!!” や、国内最大規模を誇るクラブイベント ageHa の情報番組 ”ageHa Radio” のナビゲーターを務めるなど、その活動は多岐に渡る。
レコーディングアーティストとしても活動しており、ユニット ”KAM (w / 朝本浩文, アイコ SUN a.k.a シュガーソウル)” 名義による楽曲集をはじめ、国内外のアーティストと共作や客演作を数多く発表している。

After starting out by holding a mic in his mid teens during the Japanese rap boom, he is a genuine junglist who has built up a resolute DRUM&BASS career since early 2000. He pursues a unique path as an MC while still showing respect for UK manners.
In addition to performing with various nationally renowned DJs, regardless of genre, in recent years, he engages in a wide range of activities, such as the unique national weekly special DRUM&BASS program “Localize!!” that has continued since the days of TCY RADIO TOKYO, predecessor to block.fm, and as navigator of “ageHa Radio” news program from ageHa, the largest club event in Japan.
He is also an active recording artist, and he presents a number of works by national and international artists and collaborators, including a musical collection featuring names such as Unit “KAM (w/ Hirofumi Asamoto, Aiko SUN a.k.a. Sugar Soul).”
